DH Review: Battlefield 2: Special Forces

Rammy has just wound up his latest review:

"The Battlefield franchise is known to be system intensive. With an array of textures and models mixed with a heavily coded engine, it is clearly a bumpy road to reach smooth gameplay for the majority of gamers. Previously, I had considered myself one of the few lucky ones who were able to run the game smoothly without a hassle. The game requires the same system specs as Battlefield 2, however many have reported lower frame rates with BF2: SF than with BF2."

I would say its ok, but that Euro pack should be free.

I like the whole anti vehicles aproach, but if you get in a ehli there is virtually no way to stop you : (

8 new maps, of which only 4 are really worth playing... nightvision is more cumbersome than its worth... and the new weapon unlocks are definitely 'meh'.

That said, I won't uninstall it -- just glad I got it as a gift, rather than buying it personally.

I'm just about BF2ed out, the expansion pack didn't reinvigorate me as I thought it would. I like playing as Spetznaz or SAS though.

i had high hopes for the bf2 series and thought i would play it alot.ive maybe got five or six hours into it.my biggest gripe is the server browser not giving me the correct pings.most of the time the server browser will have twenty or thirty servers with zero ping and then when i try and join it ends up timing out because it is in germany or somewhere.all my other games are accurate,cod2,fear,q4,hl2,farcry,etc..im on a 6.5mbs cable connection so i know it is not that.also my other biggest gripe is the fact that seventyfive percent of the time on certain maps i cant even find or make it to a vehical before getting bombed or sniped at spawn or fragged by a team of hellicoptors.later

MY biggest thing is that if you click the Join In button too fast the game freezes just long enough for the server to boot you because it says you lagged out.

I think sine the game still reatailing for $49 (that still in need of patching)
that we should get all these free...As by now the title should be $19.99 -
24.99 max.... its amazeing the price hasn't dropped 1 cent when games
released around that time or later are already like 19.99 titles.

I Couldnt Agree More, If They Cant Get Bf2, Bf2: Sf Right And We Need To Patch, Then Patch To Fix The Patch, We Shouldnt Be Forced To Shell Out 29.99$ For Euro Forces.
