Agreed with aXe. I didn't really like Doom3. It was very immersive and all but didn't appeal to me. Kinda pointless run and gunning.

hmm what are the requirements of this game to run at high detail 2xaa16xaf 1280x1024 ?

AMD64 3700+ @2.8ghz

will this game bog my system ?

It appears to be better than DIII but not by much. Guess this helps me pick Fear over it. I'll wait for the bargain bin.

looks exceptionally like Doom3, let's just hope the game is more fulfilling.

Yeah well it is very pretty... Sorta the only thing Doom 3 was good for. Except showing that your 3dcard can't run perfectly at 6xaa 16xaf to display black.

Well

I'd say its a Doom3 with longer halways to shoot down and vehichles.

Open Areas here and there. I think I will wait for UT if I want something for multi-player.

F.E.A.R. fund is now at 35 5$ on it to reserve. I just did some labor for my pa and that may get me enough, that and selling Rainbow Six 3 and maybe my brothers Doom3 and I just may be able to get Splinter Cell CT and F.E.A.R.


Edit: O yeah and no Chainsaw, Chainsaw was the only thing that made Doom 3 worth playing.

ya it does look alot like doom 3 but i think it looks alot different too, as in it doesnt seem as cramped, like as much as a closet shooter as doom3 is, and if the AI is at least marginally better the experiance should be alot better, just so the AI plays alil back and doent just bum rush you.
