You know, I just the other day picked up the first HALO for my PC. One reason is because my son and daughter-in-law are HUGE Halo fans. (SFOSOK, I would honestly believe my d-i-l could whip your backside.

)
Here's how 'avid' they are:
My son is the manager of a comic books and games store in N. Marietta. Earlier this year he invested his own money in 4 27" Flatscreen TVs, 4 XBOXes w/ accessories, and a few games -- including, of course, HALO. They also now have HALO 2.
He and I worked together to build two roll-around tables so that these 4 TVs would face alternating directions -- 2 one way, 2 the other. He has them so that up to 8 people (there could actually be 16, but the screens are too small) can play the video games. They also have some tennis, football, and others. The owner of the store was so impressed with how this worked that he went out and bought a 63" wide screen TV and installed yet another XBOX on it.
Well, the long and short of it is, I'd really like to be able to play some of their games but haven't been using a gamepad in ages. That's one reason I picked up an "XBOX style" gamepad for my PC a couple weeks ago and also why I picked up HALO. I actually find myself enjoying it. (BUT, I don't want to get too far removed from my main gaming right now.)
As for the store my son manages, it focuses on tabletop games like the original D&D-type games. They have several tables and have tournaments, and such there.
As for some of the old games I still play:
Star Trek: Deep Space Nine - The Fallen is one of the first games I install after any new install of Windows.
I still have HL-2 and the other 'freebies' from Valve installed.
I started both Doom 3 and Thief: Deadly Shadows, but got pulled away for some reason I can't put my finger on.
Of course, I'm still playing Morrowind.....for about the 7th attempt since I first got it ... what, 4 years ago?
Also, I'd like to continue my adventure with the NWN's character I have. I finished NWN and Shadows of Undrentide, but got stuck in Hordes of the Underdark.
I still like to start up Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory. I've already completed it three times...last time on Expert.
There are others, but, I've already worn out my fingers typing. LOL!
