Battlefield 2 clan?

Anyone in a good BF2 clan? I'm especially looking for a mature group that have their own server, play actively but not scimming all the time. I'm just out to have fun. Can anyone point me at such a clan?

Nah. I was actually with an awesome bunch of guys but the clan dissolved when the leader left, bringing the server and website with him..

can't really do competition in that game because its just a bit pointless. Its fun to play with ppl you know and have strategy but that is about it. BF2 is not entirely worthless just only worth about 20 bucks (at least untill they change the ranking)

I'm not into competition play but I do play for fun. I only have the demo at this time.
team play is best but you need people that can work togeather and actually give a
rats arse what thier dong and about the team, especailly within thier squads!. Like heal
people and revive people when you a medic and give people ammo when you support.

Can both lead and fallow though I prefer to lead as I'm prety percetive as to
what is going on. Those people sneek in etc theat other ignore end up with suprize
bullets from me etc... I'm a the spawn of evil in a tank, or in the secondary set of a
hellcopter or jet asumeing thier good piolets. Other wise I prefer ground combat...
I change my chartier class as the situation requires.

If I had the full game I'd be interested I been dableing the the demo dedicated sever but
from what I under stand the game needs like 6MB upload speed for 64 players, thats nuts!
So to really have you own sever you pretty well have to rent one or have some insane
internet connection.

I just wish the game price would drop or I would find some money LOL can't
really afford to be buying games AT the time being....

I'm a decent sniper, bad ass medic (I actully heal people!), and the devil incarnate in a blackhawk (as driver, granted the ground forces keep those damn aa vechiles destroyed... I can avoid them... just can't get much done wilst their around.)

Wanna talk eveil with a 1/2 decent team and me as comander im pretty eveil, even with out giveing very many orders, between the UAV, supply drops, and artillery, I do some damage
and make a differance where it matters for my team.

I hate stupid commanders alot of time complete noobs apply and get it, and it near
impossable to get them voted out so someone with 100X the brain power can take
thier place. I mean there are time wer we lost becouse some Noob never used artillery
and "denied" when I requested an important strike

It sad when the commander is the lowest scoreing player and the team

Not really if its your team with the non existant commander
vs
a team with a commander who droping artillery, supplying
his people and droping UAVs, telling people were to go and

Don't matter how go you team it thats the kick in the

one time the dude was commander was "dead" and AFK for 9/10 the round
and coulsdn't muster the votes to get rid of them it insane to require that the
while team vote them out. Thats nearly impossable.....

even worse when the comander is team killing, droping artilery on our base etc

Mature BF2 clans? I got invited into a clan comprised of ex military people and you have to address higher ranking members on teamspeak with "sir".

Bf2 clans are based off older members in my experience. Hey, if you find a decent one tell me I'm clanless myself

Exactly, most good clans are hardly mature... Their ex-military that require every one to do stupid shit stuff, because they think its cool and they had to do it in the military.

Well actually my point was that they are mature

Sure they have different requirements for their members but at least you know none of them are kids and going to do stupid things. Me, Im not calling anyone sir unless I've been pulled over by a police officer for speeding.
