exclamation HELP ON:rolling back to the Catalyst 5.1 drivers

Hello all i need a little help.
After downloading the new Battlefield2 Demo i soon found that when i tried to play i would go to a black screen then exit out of the program. I am pretty sure that it is my video card i am on a laptop and i have somthing like an ATI mobilty redeon 9000IGP umm it is like 128MB it runs off my memory. so i upgraded my memory and still the same problem. when i started to research the problem i found this on the Battlefield2 website:
"ATI Cards and Battlefield 2 Demo In testing the demo, EA has encountered some visual issues on certain ATI cards with the previous Catalyst drivers (5.5) and are working with yesterday's 5.6 release to discover if the issue is resolved. If in playing the Battlefield 2 demo you encounter texture corruption of any kind, we recommend rolling back to the Catalyst 5.1 drivers. ATI is aware of this issue and is working to resolve it."
After i read that i figured that i had to roll back to the Catalyst 5.1 drivers...?

So i am really confused if u need more info about my machine or the game please tell me i really want to be able to play BF2 when the full version is delivered.

PLEASE HELP

P.S. I know little about this stuff so please be basic with me.

Make sure that you have downloaded the appropriate driver files 1st.

In your device manager, uninstall your display devices. Reboot the PC into safe mode and run Drivercleaner on it to remove the old files. Drivercleaner can be found on the front page of this site.

Reboot the PC into regular mode and when it pops up trying to install the device, click cancel. Then run the driver install setup utitltity. Reboot and should be set.

I've always had success with running the setup.exe in the driver package.

In the device manager, go into the display devices or display adapters (sorry doing this from memory and it's spotty atm). Right-click on the device and choose "uninstall." When it prompts you to reboot, click "no." There may be 2 adapters. Make sure to uninstall both of them.
