San Andreas - just how much do YOU like it?

--the tool will help, a lot.. but still you won't be able to get all controls on the gamepad. Also when using gamepad you can do "auto aiming" which I haven't been able to get working with kb/mouse- not that I wanted to use it, but wanted to test it..

You will probably be able to use a wheel properly with gas and brake pedals and force feedback..-
as of now you cannot use more than one controller- but he is also working on running multiple instances of the tool to enable multiple controllers- example- wheel and pedals for driving- gamepad for flying, kb/mouse for walking..

Not sure if he will be doing all of this first release or even if it will possible to get all these things working. But even what he has so far is a huge improvement.

I swear, i almost feel like im black when i play this game. Things have been coming out of my mouth when i play this game that i have never even thought i would say. its really weird, but this game is so much fun its not like i care.

just a question to others, do the textures sometimes seem slow loading? Like when you come out of a building/house and everything fades in. I'm just curious. I've heard the game isnt coded great for the pc.

Yeah sometimes things "pop in" even the shadows and stuff... Usually happens pretty quick though, like within 0.5 seconds..

it fades up a little slow, but i think its meant to be that way. and stuff will draw faster with frame limiter on by a bit. but this gta has no problems with frame limiter off except shadows loading a little slower. otherwise i cant complain about graphics.

ok thanks for the quick responses guys. The thing i notice most, is at the family home, when you come out and Smokes car is there, the texture under the car on the street is gone for, as BWX said, about .5 secs.

This game doesn't have the option for hardware mixing for the sound. I often have sound glitches.

I wonder if there is going to be a way of extending this games content once I complete it. It's such a good game, I hope there will be add on packs.

MTA multi-theft auto. multiplayer for gta. vice and gta3 ahve it but its quite glitchy and unstable.

over hyped in my point of view... not fun, ugly as hell, and just a pair of new clothes for the older gta VC and 3. Not worth the buy imho. Fell asleep seriously playing this game. And i'm not a GTA hata, I loved the 3 and vc was... well sorta boring.

Wow! I never thought anyone would feel that strong against the game. Obviously it aint everyones cup of tea.

This game has dissapointed me so far. Got a few mods installed, and a 100% save game. Controls are wack! Gameplay is better on ps2 imo... Back to f.e.a.r.......

nah its not, i hooked up a controller, and it just feels weird. Mabye its the monitor. But seriously there is just something not right about this game. Just cant figure out what.
