trackmania sunrise
Hi guys
I'm struggling to get new cars installed into the game. I downloaded a couple off the garage site but th instructions are in french and I don't get them! anyone with experience please help me!

no, I bought the English version from my retailer, not a scabby pirate version. I can't undersatnd the FRENCH instructions on how to install new cars, even when the site is translated. I think I'm owed an apology...

The zips of the véhicules are put in the folliwing folders (NOT-DECOMPRESSED) depending on hte enviromment
island TmSunrise\GameData\Skins\Vehicles\SportCar coast TmSunrise\GameData\Skins\Vehicles\CoastCar bay TmSunrise\GameData\Skins\Vehicles\BayCar What is a layer or installer? a layer is an immage in dds specifique to each car (rust, graphics, etc...) u must unzip the folder with the layer name which has Layer.dds (dxt1 ou 5 with or without alpha, depending if u want to use the tranparency ) depending per car - Véhicule Island : TmSunrise\GameData\Painter\Layers\SportCar - Véhicule Bay : TmSunrise\GameData\Painter\Layers\BayCar - Véhicule Coast : TmSunrise\GameData\Painter\Layers\coastcar hope that helps |
