Doom 3 - ROE

Hmm, this game plays quite smooth all the way thru, untill i gotto the XRay bit.

Has anyone got the last boss yet? I cant play it due to i get 12 FPS const.

I dont know if itsjust me or does every1 lagg here?

No lag what so ever but I just couldn't kill the last boss. gave up and uninstalled it. The x-ray part did look like a slide show. I saved and rebooted and it ran smoothly so go figure. This will be my last Doom game. Hope the engine is used on a game in the friggen day light

next time.

I had finished it at 1600x1200 with 4xAA and high Quality
It's somehow better from Doom3 but smaller as a Single player experience

Tip tip tip for winning the Last Boss....

Use the powers of the Artifact to slow time and kick his a*s with heavy weapons (like Rocket launcher and BFG)

For replenishing Artifacts power with Souls there are some Corpses in North sector of the final stage

Thx for the tips, but i cant even play the last boss, my FPS are 12 cons. I've even put alll my gfx on low, took bump mapping off special effects.

That sounds like a bug, which they'll fix, hopefully. What Big Red described is probably a memory leak, but if restarting doesn't work for you, then you probably found a different one.

Yeh, rebooted and now is playable with High details, my card was getting very hot too.
