Anyone got Project Snowblind running?
Loaded game and checked for patches (none available). Crashes to desk top with min resos/Hz with fatal error message. Installed with NAV off etc etc. Have all latest drivers etc etc. When start with game settings at default still crashes. If I start using desktop game short cut, the openning sequence starts and when it starts to load game screen it goes to large green geometric squares and freezes. Nothing on Eidos game site yet about probs. or in the forums????

jcallen3316 over at Game FAQ's said to disable full screen effects and I did and it works. Turnes out to be a pretty good game. Now if they can get a patch out so the graphics are improved it will be worth the purchase price.

I didn't see this thread when I got the game for Father's Day this past Sunday.
So far, the game plays and looks pretty good. As I stated in my post about the game, it brings to mind some elements from Halo, Deus Ex, and Half Life 2. It took (and IS taking) a while to get the hang of the controls. There are LOTS of them!
But, last night, during about 3 hours of gameplay, I had 3 CTDs. These all seemed to have happened as I fired a round of something at an enemy. Since the game only has save points, any crash results in having a 'do over' session from your last save. Fortunately, though, I'm actually enjoying the gameplay and story enough that it's not as annoying as it could have been otherwise.
Also, the first thing I did was look for a patch. There still is none available. Does anyone know if there's going to be?

Ended up playing the game on my P4 system with an ATI 9800 Pro and could play with all effects on. The 6800 Ultra appeared to be the problem with full screen effects. Ended up liking this game much better than Pariah. Haven't seen a patch yet?

I'm going to have to check for a little help. I've reached the point where we return to the base to find it infiltrated with enemies. My main objective is to locate the access to the inner base.
Well, I've actually pretty much taken out everyone, gone up onto the roofs and leaped from one to another. I've crawled through windows and even used the Orge.
I'm now standing right on the location of the main objective but nothing's happening. It's out on the porch near a machine gun and not far from where the Orge was stationed.
I don't see any way at all to enter the base from this location. Straight up is open sky.

Dyre, go up on the rooftop(midfloor whatever) and look for a vent around that location. Thats your entry point.
The game was good, but I coudn't finish it. Just started to not appeal to me after some various plot elements occured.

OK, I did find that vent. But, it wasn't anywhere near the objective marker on my radar. Hmmm?
And, I'm having quite a problem with the game crashing (CTD). It seems it happens a lot when certain types of enemies are killed. But, I'm not sure it's just that, either. The log files aren't very helpful at all.
