Benchmarking???
Hey guys, iam new here. I need some help with benchmarking. Are there any TIMEDEMOS or benchmarking software made for HALF LIFE 2 and FARCRY?? i have managed to benchmark doom3 with its default "timedemo demo1" then using FRAPS.
I have tried using benchemall as well, but are there any custom made demos for hl2 or farcry ?? cause i dont want to make my own demos for those games.

I doubt there are any default timedemos for those games and I haven't seen any you can d/l. I guess you'll have to make your own. Though I think you don't need to benchmark b/c your specs good.

The patched FarCry to version 1.3 has a built-in timedemo called "regulator". Just go into the game, open the console and type "/map regulator", then after loading has finished -- iirc -- "/demo 1".
Concerning Half-LifeČ: There are many timedemos ... but most of them don't work with the new Source-Engine Version 7 any more. You could try this one--very CPU-limited. If you want to stress your GPU, then try this one.  Greetings from Germany, Raff
