Once again SORS has raised the bar for an online racing league. We are currently looking for drivers and owners for the 2005 seaason.
With 2 racing divisons, SORS the place to start your professional sim racing career. Every race has a purse to pay top finishing owners. The amount of the purse is based on the total number of drivers registered for the event. Getting into a SORS event is not easy. Field size is limited to 30 drivers so you must first pre-qualify in order to even get into the race. Once you do make it in, you will be competing against some of the best online drivers found anywhere. All fighting for a share of the purse.
The ProStock series is where most will begin. This is the place to shine and hopefully attract the attention of a ProCup Series owner. ProStock maybe the stepping stone into the ProCup Series, but it is no less challenging.
The Tenncom Group ProCup Series is the top series in SORS. This is where you complete with the best of the best. Getting into the ProCup Series is no easy task. There are only 36 total ProCup Rides available which are purchased through an ebay type of auction. The money raised from this auction is used to form a final payout at the end of the season. Like the ProStock series, field size is limited to 30 drivers, which means 6 drivers will be going home after prequal. A provisional system makes sure that the full time competitor still has the opportunity to make the race in the event of a blown engine, crash or some other unfortunante event. The primary sponsor for this series is The Tenncom Group. They add an additional $25.00 to every ProCup Series race purse. ProCup series purses involve some serious cash.
Come be an owner or driver in SORS today. There are only 18 ProCup Cars left to be auctioned so if you want to get invovled in the top series, now is the time. There are an unlimited number of ProStock slots available.
