Men of Valor - PC
What a great game. It's made by the same people that created MOHAA originally.
I've played most of the Vietnam War based games as of late. Shellshock: Nam '67 (pretty cool game but really short). Conflict: Vietnam (didn't beat it yet but it's not really holding my interest very much) to name a few. Now I'm playing Men of Valor, man I'm loving it! The action is intense, the voice acting is pretty good, the sounds are awesome. I'm finding this to be the most enjoyable FPS I have ever played I am willing to even go as far as saying this is better than Half-Life 2.
OMG!!! I have been playing this game for more than 25 hours now and I just started yet ANOTHER MISSION! (Each mission contains about 3-5 "levels").
Talk about a LONG FPS, that has not let me down yet!
Right now I am leaving a base under heavy attack and heading into the jungle to rescue some Marines that called in air bombardments on top of their positions.
5k Marines versus 40k NV and VC and the amount of enemies you see on this level really make you think that there is 40k out to get you!
WHAT A GREAT GAME!!!!
The audio is just SUPERB, and the action is just so heart pounding intense it's nuts!
Pick this one up!

Man I just loaded up Pacific Assualt the other day and I was SO disappointed! At one point I was in the swamp and zoomed in and shooting a guy on a mounted gun in the head and my bullets would not hit him for anything. Given my dissapointment by that time, I just uninstalled the game. Should i give it another try or is it really as bad as it seemed? I would have given it a 4/10 based om my experience.....

just got men of valor today, installed it and patched it. Played it for a few hours and its pretty nice although there is some improvment to be made. The sound is fricken awesome!...
Im on mediam level and its way to easy, it seems that there is something missing from the game when you go into the villages and shoot up the VC. Needs to be more realistic. However while walking through the bush and the planes drop bombs it looks pretty cool. The game is lacking something but i cant figure out what, its not bad though, worth the $50 i spent on it.

I don't know, I haven't played the xbox version.
Typically though games look better on the PC due to better hardware all around. Pending of course on if the developers took time to do such. Beyond that I have no clue.

Thanks I have rented the XBOX version and beat it so I am not going to buy it for the same game.
