splinter cell crashing
bah, I know its an old game, but I got it with my sound card. Anyway, im really annoyed with crashing to desktop with "general protection fault" after I beat Ivan on killawhatever level. Anyone know how to fix it or at least know any level cheats so I can continue the game?

Splinter Cell is not "old". It's a classic and it's great that you're enjoying it.
 Yes, check for patches if you haven't done so. |

supposedly all patches are applied up to 1.2, and I cannot find anything newer. Will a reinstall possibly fix this?

Have you tried fiddling around with in-game settings? Like resorting back to default?
