Silent Hill 4: The Room Demo

A playable demo for Silent Hill 4: The Room is now locally mirrored, allowing you to try out the the fourth installment in this popular horror/survival series. Thanks: 3DGamers. In this game, you play the role of Henry Townshend who awakens from a nightmare in the sleepy town of South Ashfield, only a few short miles from the infamous town of Silent Hill. Henry is trapped in his apartment and, through a portal which mysteriously appears there, he must "match his wits and brawn against heinous creatures and the ghastly undead that lie in wait as he tries to solve the mystery of his entrapment".

I thought SH4 was pretty cool. I almost finished it and just stopped playing it altogether for some reason. Maybe I'll get it out again and reinstall it

Silent Hill 4 Demo

Its out, obviously. 3dgamers and gh3d have it.

In the demo it is lacking the texture resolution options that SH3 had, and I was wondering if anyone that has the full version could tell me if its just missing from the demo or the retail game.

For the life of me I cannot understand how a sequel can have WORST graphics than its predecessor, If I wanted PS2 graphics I would have played it on the PS2!!! SH3 is one of my favorite PC games because of the texture resolution option which made it look spectacular. Did they leave it out this round?
