Can't get r_hdrrendering to work

Can someone help me i cant get r_hdrrendering to work in far cry i got the 1.3 patch installed. When i drop the console and type it in i dont see any difference ive tried 1-11 options for r_hdrrendering. Making me mad i want to see this in far cry. My specs are moblie 2600 @ 2.6 X800xtPE running the offical 4.12s with DX 9.0c. If any one can help me out that would be cool.......

System Specs

The FarCry patch v1.3 HDR feature does simply not support ATI cards.
