am new
i like games but i dont get exposed to much of these games, last one i played was on PS 2, the famous Tekken tag (well atleast famous for PS  ) and the spider man demo on PC wasnt really bad for me. So i want some info bout gaming for starters like me (PC games  ). were and what to get these good games

Well, Half-Life 2 is coming out this week (it better!), so you should definitely look into that. Assuming your PC is good enough, I'm sure you'll like it.

Well since you own a PS2..
You may want to consider picking up Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas.

if you like racing, definitely try need for speed underground 2, loads of fun. really look into PS2 games this season, they will dominate. jak 3, ratchet and clank: up your arsenal, gta: san andreas, smackdown vs raw, gran turismo 4, metal gear solid 3 just some high quality games that are surrounding the competition

thank you solid, but i dont like football. bugs the hell out of me, I think grand turismo 4 is ok for me, tried it once but never got into it. dont you have the link for the clips of the need for speed underground 2, wanna view them, might be interested

see this is wat amazes me, hl2 is supposed to be playable on a dx 6.0 comp since it wasn't made for ppl to have to get a new comp to play it... interesting...

The first link is a page with movie clips for hundreds of different games. The second link is a page with links to many hundred more demo downloads. Those oughtta give you some ideas......its an excellent site for learning about and trying new games, give it a look.

Far Cry, Max Payne 2, Call of Duty, Splinter Cell 2, NFSU2 would be my recommendations.
If you like online games, Enemy Territory is awesome and its free, I wore out a mouse playing that one!
