Yeah, Cube version is improved in GFX and game defficulty. Its much better. Just wait on RE4...it looks even better. Infact if you havent already, go watch the trailer...
Good games you gut there too... SMB is great for multiplayer, Rogue Squadron is an excellent shooter and Mario is one of the best platform games you can buy, not quite as good as Mario64 but very good indeed.
you should try to pick up Zelda and Metroid Prime too.

Yeah, i had the freeloader and moved to actionreplay because it had a newer version of freeloader at the time (something to do with 1.06b and 1.06B)... whatever the case it made Mario Kart DD work.
Hopefully you'll get the Zelda version with Ocarina of Time bonus disc (n64 game) included. Ocarina was/is one of the best games of all time on any format and well worth playing before you move on to Wind Waker. ( http://www.gamespot.com/n64/adventur...ot/review.html )

The cube isn't just for little kids... it aserts itself very well through every age group.....
And the graphics are great.... IMO, the hardware is far better then PS2... but notch lower then Xbox... (still, well competed)
I bought a gamecube just to play metroid... but the GC is very flexible.... get a gameboy player addon and you could play every game from the orginal old gameboy games to the color to the advanced..... excellent...
IMO, the player should have aloud you to change which buttons are A and B instead of allowing you only able to select "Select"

The only reason Nintendo is affiliated with being a "kid's" console is because of the simplicity of some the first and third-party games that they have. Has anyone played Paper Mario 2: The Thousand Year Door? I think I beat it in 6 hours...and it's a supposed "RPG"? I scoff at that level of difficulty. Mario and Luigi's Superstar Saga on GBA? Beat it faster than I beat Fable...which was pretty short in itself. The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker droned on for too long, but it's prequels( The Ocarina of Time, Majora's Mask) are some of the most brilliant and challenging games out there. I'd rather play ONE game for 50-75 hours than play six in a two hour period and be bored.
But that's just me.

The bit that impressed me the most visually in Resi Zero is once the train has started moving, and you have to go outside and make your way along the roof. That just looks fantastic

i liked the remake of RE, thoguht it was very well done, very scary, and hard as hell. as for RE0, never liked that one too much. i played it, beat it, but just didnt care for it. now if only they would have remade RE2 and 3 to the quality of 1.

If you beat it on easy with Jill (I think) you get the option to play the game on "medium" difficulty, which is just stupid if you ask me... sometimes I wish they would just add a whooplah of ammo in one of the RE games, just doesnt feel as fun having to save each bullet like it was your firstborn. Hope RE4 adds a bit more pleasing gun fights.
