You got make sure your paging file system is on for the game I know because I try it off before and game crash to desktop alot. So if you have 512mb of ram like me set your paging file to 1000-1500 then press set then restarted that should fix your doom3 and make it load and run better

Yes. Having your cache on is usually a good thing. Try a more conservative 1.5x your system memory though, extremely large page files will not do anything but hurt performance after a point (although, really, not by much either way).
Fragment tweak, occlusion culling and shadow culling tweak = yay! I'm still pissed this wasn't in the original config. |

My bro has 512 MB
He got his to work, believe it or not, but Microsoft's "System Manage" Page File option is correct and recommended.
