ExactMat Mousepad VS Icemat by Germanjulian

well you can read plenty of reviews on the Icemat and Icemat 2 (which is bigger then the first icemat) and Razer first mousepad the Exactmat.

well I just got mine today (exactmant that is) its brand new and one of the first one comerically available. weehhh heee. I got it cause it won a mousmat shootout which tested over 30 mousemats and each mat was tested by 5 people.

Anyway lets cut the rubbish out and come to the conclusion. which one is better in my eyes. Everyone knows we have some icemat lovers here including me. does the exactmat beat it.

well yes and no.

first of all I only use the smooth side of the exactmat which is faster (doh) and obviously better for FPS games.
the exactmat is not smoother then the icemat but its also not slower. Its hard to explain. somehow when you move the mouse both mats are equally smooth when you move it but the exactmat feels more controllable , mhh when I use the icemat I sometimes had the feeling its to slippy

anyway I like the feeling of the exactmat more then the icemat. It feels like I have a bit more precision and movement is still super smooth and I get a nice glide feeling.

also the exactmat is BIG its massive! just as the icemat 2 which I never owned.
another plus is that the exactmat is not so THICK which is obviously better (something I always hated about the icemat)

the only thing I dont like is that it looks like the rubber feet of the exactmat on the smooth side whicH I use look really hard to get off!!! cause obviously the exactmat has rubber feet on both sides.

anyway I like the exactmat more then the icemat. and if your like me your propably get it.

testing was done with my Razer Viper 30 minutes in Windows, MS paint and half an hour of CS.

ahhhhhh my g/f just spilled water down my back the b******
whoo hooo

oh by the way its also not noisy! and I did get those rubber mouse feet of rather quickly and some of the glue was still on the mat but you can just peel it off! (like the stuff they use when you get a credit card and its glued to paper).

Yeah, I got mine a few days ago, and am very satisfied with it, though my keyboard is covering a part of it, since it's bigger than my old Func pad, and doesn't fit as well as the Func did.

So have you used the Icemat 2? or just the original at length?
