Doom Mouse Support
I just bought The Ultimate Doom Trilogy from Wal-Mart tonight. I've been searching around the internet for help all night, and can't find anything, so maybe someone here can help. I can't get the mouse support to work, even though everything is set up correctly. I'm not sure if it's because I'm running XP, but I'm just hoping someone can give me a solution. Thanks.

It's Ultimate Doom, Doom 2, and Final Doom, and none of them work with the mouse. I have mouse support turned on and everything, but when I move the mouse, or even click the mouse, I get nothing.

I'm running them in Windows, I'm pretty sure they're based on the 95Doom files.

Agreed, compatibility mode is your best bet at getting it to work.

Try using Doom Legacy or The Doomsday Engine the latter also supports, Heretic, Hexen, most any wad based game.

Doom never had mouse support...i dont think....
i know if you get an engine like "Doom Legacy" then you have full mouse support and can jump, look up and down etc etc, and all you need is the engine and the doom.wad file.

I'm talking about all versions...in the dos setup for Doom it had that option. and they all run off the same WAD files.
