I was never a Nintendo guy, so i never really cared about nintendo games, but im curious about metroid since thats about everything Judas talks about...

One thing that sort of ruined super metroid was the automap.
I loathe the automap. The first one was so fun because it was so easy to get lost in the world.(which is why I prefer the 1 and 2(GB)) Though Its current 3d incarnations have been sorta... well, lets just say I would have enjoyed them much more if they were designed to be PC games. |

...i think that map was what really made thing neato... considering the fact that even with the map room... there was a pile of areas that weren't listed till you actually bombed your way into them....also considering that fact that a single area is the same size as the orginal metroid in terms of complexity and whatnot
