Does Anisotropic Filtering affect Half-Life
I took these a couple of minutes ago:
16x AF, 8x AA:
AF Off, 8x AA:
So I know AA does work in Half-Life and its mods, but does AF?

Yes, it does. Notice how without AF the floor and ceiling towards the back is blurred, as is the control panel on the right.

A place to tell the difference is on de_inferno or de_aztec on the ground. The difference is quite amazing. On some maps the textures are just so bad you really can not tell.

Cool... never really noticed it, heh
So what is the difference between image dithering and turning AF off?

Ok Cartman, see at the back, near the second column of boxes? See the ceiling and the floor? Now compare those areas with the other pic.
