Co-op FPS's? Hell even Co-op TPS's?!
I'm dying for a fun Co-op game like Serious Sam or something along those lines. Just a good Co-op FPS. Does anyone know of any? Where you can tackle the single player with a buddy or two? There hasn't been one since Serious Sam that I am aware of and although fun after beating it for the thirty thrid time it gets kinda old ya know? So if you know any good co-op games lemme know!

heres an idea...its not a new game...but still fun. download a program called "doom connector" and get you and your friend a copy of the "doom.wad" file and the "doom legacy" engine. thats all you need to play co-op through the entire game, or have a deathmatch in any level you choose. its really, really fun.

Uh, couldn't you always play doom and doom 2 Co-op? I distinctly remember doing it. Perhaps it is just new for j-doom...
EDIT: Actually my recomendations would be System Shock 2(has some issues but if you work around them its really fun), and the infamous mod for HL: Sven Co-op. Rouge Spear, and urban operations is fun(and raven sheild to a lesser extent). Though good MP expeiences for Co-Op are few and far between sadly.

Hidden and Dangerous 1 without all the bugs...Now there was a co-op game!
Next Thief game should include co-op of a sort. See how much money/gold you can steal from a castle within the timelimit! That'll be good cos you could foil your other mates attempts by making noise, attracting the gaurds over to them instead of you! Set traps in the rooms you've already stole from...
Damn I like that idea a lot now lol Bah, why can't game designers be as creative as us?

SS2 was so boring, i just remember touching an orb or something at the end of the lvl, it was VERY detailed info in the console.
rainbow six 3: athena sword is really fun coop, theres also deathmatch. there are really cool objectives and its extremely realistic. but if you want like a campaign cant help u there really lol. I heard solider fortune 2 had coop also.

There is a co-op mod for HL called Sven Co-op.
Lot's of fun actually. You can either play the HL SP games w/ a buddy or a few custom maps that make it hella fun.

Can you play the single player game co=op with the Sven co=op thing? I thought it was a different game based on HL?

Me thinks your thinking of a different game BBP. There was no levels. SS2 is a freeform environment(well for the most part). Though I do understand why some would find the game play boring.

You were able to back pre-steam, I havne't played SVEN co-op in awhile but I don't see why they would have taken that out.
