Front page poll: Your favourite console?

Are you a PS2 fanboy - who adores the wide variety of games available and the sony controllers? a gamecube lover who loves jumping around in a plumbers outfit? or are you an XBOX fanatic who also likes to rip Mp3s for parties? please vote on the front page and discuss in this thread on our forums. Of course we all want to hear if you are just a PC user who thinks they all suck.

I like the Xbox the best (actually I like them all a little), but i hate playing games at 640x480 with no AA, jaggy edges are awful looking.

Yeah, my vote goes for XBOX, graphics are much better and feels powerful..

Last console I owned was the PS1. Got into PC's and never looked back. I have ZERO experience with the newer ones. I must abstain.

I'm with Zardon here, 640x480 is too low-res for me anymore.

I look at consoles, not at their pretty graphics..but for the games! I still play 2-D fighters, I still enjoy my pixelated, jagged edged games on the PS2. Yes, if only they were all ported to the PC~.. I don't see the point of an X-Box, because I have a PC.

PS2 got my vote for having the variety of games I love

After playing with PS2/Xbox/Gamecube.... thoroughly.... i'd say that Gamecube and Xbox load times/ game details/graphics are Identical... i'd go as far to say that the gamecube loads games just a bit faster... if not instant... unlike xbox.... that although has a fast load time.... isn't as instant..... PS2.... i'd class as a pile of crap.... slow... low graphic... hunk of garbage... only thing holding it together is the companies such as capcom and squaresoft...

Controller layouts... the PS2 is still barbaric... was good with the PS1.... but they never made a single change to the controller from then on... i'm surprised how the Gamecube's are so similare to an Xbox.... moving between the 2 consoles is extremely easy to get relaxed into and button recognized.....

Games.... this is the only throwback on the gamecube right now.... they just don't have the major variety.... damn Sony for that.... but the Xbox also has a large list.....

However... what the gamecube does have for games.. specially there "legend" type games such as the mario/zelda/Metroid series..... along with there second up set.... are superb....

Hell .... i went out and just bought a gamecube for Metroid prime i was so amazed by it... can't wait for the second one...

Another thing is... the ability to hook them up in such a way to get up to 8 players without paying a monthly fee.... you can play classic games or new games via a Gameboy/Advanced linkup pack the hooks on directly to the cube... and works like a cartige system.... Also..all the neato things you can do if you have a gameboy advanced..

Really.... when you look at it.... the gamecube has more features then any of them.... the quality is amazing...

srry but im a nintendo boy =/ always had nintendo just for mario and some other fun games :/ but i hoped a new donkey kond adventure game will come out but stupid rare and nintendo divoraced

i Voted Game Cube. Im a Nintendo fan from waaaaay back. (just got Soul Calibur 2...Link! w00t!)
Close 2nd would be xbox (has awsome exclusives that arent on PC guys)
but i still like my crusty old ps2...its getting a bit long in the tooth...but has had some great little games.

Sure, if i were to buy one then the Xbox would be my choice. But since its existence has had a detrimental effect on PC games I cannot say I like it.

UPDATE on POLL : X-Box still on top with ps2 2nd and came cube very close behind in 3rd...

id laugh my arse off if Came Cube pulled out 2nd possie
