Dues Ex IW V1.2 patch

If you are running an ATI card you may not like the in game changes the above patch makes. Save your game progress before installing so you can uninstall game and reinstall without patch if you do not like the results (Even though the games saves are in your docs&settings, I found I had to copy the saves again from back up disc before they would work. Found the contrast too light even after adjusting and could not use bloom with patch. Also found other glitches such as r- mouse would not activate conversation holygram. This may be unique to my system, but runs fine with mouse sensitivty turned way down without patch????? Would like to know others experiences!

I just finished the game dogin and used the patch,I didn't notice anything bad about it myself, there were a few in game character conversaions that I had to move around a little to get them to talk but other wise no problems here. I thought the game it self would be better and longer than it was and I didn't like the fact that i had to use the mouse to hit the "drop" button in stead of haveing a key to do that.Also didn't like the way every place you had to go into there was a "loading screen" over all I thought the graphics were good,only glich I noticed after the patch was when loading a new room/level or when starting the game first it would show a loading screen then "flash" to a new loading screen to load the room/level then second loading screen would show the v1.1/v1.2 at the top left of it.

Thanks for the reply. After your experience, I reloaded the patch and it is working fine now. I did not lose the saved games this time around. Don't know why the original problems as I installed both times with all programs shut off.
