Introducing: GunBound
GunBound Homepage
It's a free game similar to Worms, but has an anime theme to it. You can buy "avatar" or clothes/gear for your character which increases its stats. It's very fun, addicting and a great pick up game (PUG)
They're constantly updating as well.
Here are some screenshots.
Screenshot 1
Screenshot 2
Yeap, it's 2D with a 3D Background. Nice work.
There are some hackers though, but Softnyx (The company) are working hard to get rid of them.
Give it a try, folks.
The name is NoStyle in there. Add me if you wish
P.S - Softnyx is a Korean company. Their English isn't fantastic, but the Engrish is quite good.

I refused as well. And I'm ASIAN! LOL I refused because it was free and I've had bad experiences with free Korean games, but this is an exception trust me! If you have a Laptop, this a great game to play it on. C'mon~ Give it a try! You'll like it.

Ok. You can use real cash to buy "avatar" to equip on your character instead of spending the time of acquiring the "CASH" for it. It's still free, though. Besides, there are avatar equipment which you can only get with the ingame "Gold".

Looks like you have to buy extra weapons etc. with real cash - or rather, create your in-game funds with real cash.
I suppose these days, ads don't pay enough, so perhaps the model which lets free players in, but gives extra powers to paying ones, is about the best that can be hoped for.

The game reminded me alot of an updated Atari game where the object was to make your enemy fall off of the screen by blowing up the land beneath him. An old concept, that did alright, but that is still not the most original idea. This is not a game worth downloading if you are looking for something beyond an Atari 2600 based idea.

Heard about the game one month ago. These games and the like are a speciality for Korean game companies.
Reminds me of Scorch...Any one remember this game?
I'd really love to play it again.

Yes... its classic tank wars gameplay. There is nothing new to be seen in the 'genre' past worms. If you like cutsy crap and explosions this game is for you.

Thanks man, downloading now.
Never thought of searching through the web, the game was so ancient. Like the two 5.25" game GunBoat.
