I need all the help i can get!
I need help... lots of it....

Right now.. i thought hey.. you know what would be absalutely fun as hell... and we'd be able to do it very easily?

Quake 1... yes.. 1... orginal... yeppers...

Multiplayer... ya heard me..

I want to set up a dedicated server... need lots of help though

I need lots of command lines... cfg tutorials....

I need help with GL QUAKE and whatnot...

BTW.. isn't Quake 1 free?

Anyone know any of this... please do.. post up or something.... i think it'd be an absalute riot playing a few dozen rounds.. and NO ONE would be left out due to system not being fast enough (enless you running well under a 200mhz)

PLEASE.. i really do want to try this...

dude! u know whats better? DOOM online! and all u need to do is download Doom Connector and get a copy of the Doom.wad!

well.. i've got most of the problems moved out... a dedicated server is running... same IP adress as UT2k4... port is 26000

yeah, both quake 1 and quake 2 are free now, but its up to you to find them because although ID released them they arnt serving them. (At least to my knowledge)

If someone can find a location I would come play, I loved quake 1.

Well i got a dedicated server running but i need help... Quake 1 is stuck using the own computer's IP address.... it's not working like all the other servers i've put up.... Port 26000 .... Ip should be 24.78.201.198 HOWEVER..... nobody connects. no responce... i can't bind any ip to quake dedicated ... it won't allow it.... i did notice that when i connect... my own port changes.. maybe that's it... not sure... ARG
