A cool option in ut2k4

Did any one try that option on audio enable text speech or something like that i cant really remember its on the buttom right of audio settings and its the first one!

Man that thing is awsome every thing u spell out a robot voice says it out loud.

for example in game ur all mad cuz u died or something so u type out OMG DAMN NUB DONT CAMP or something like that just example right after u click enter this robot sound will say oh my god damn nub dont camp OUT LOUD its super awsome.

you guys should check it out its very very cool.

it uses MS's default Test to Speech Translator... if you have other voices.... which you can download... (if you know were to look ).... you can get alot of different ones.. even ones that not only text to speech... but will convert to another language....

Good for team talk, so that teamsay text gets noticed better. Would be cool if they included a custom voice with the game too.

umm are you sure that other people in the game even hear that? if i remember correctly they dont. The coolest thing i think is the voice recognition. you can actually tell bots what to do through a microphone...and they'll follow orders. this runs off of the MS voice recogition, which you have to train a little bit to work properly...but hey, its better than using menu commands.

Just dont use the in game irc with it on!!!!!!!! Everyroom is filled with : How the hell do I turn steven hawkings off! He won't stop talking!!! Plz I'm going deaf and he's still talking away 5 pages back!!!!
