Snake all the way! Sam fisher is useless if he's not hiding in the dark, crouched for 5 minutes, waiting for a good enough accuracy (which may or may not hit) to shoot a weak little sissygirl whose more interested in walking in to shadows and back out again.
Snakes more your 'Hi, I'll be your executioner this evening' kinda guy. Can handle all situations and doesnt need to shoot out lights.  |

#47 is ok. Sneaky and efficient, but nowhere as athletically able like Sam Fisher or Snake.

and i have added the mgs twin snakes trailer on the front page. this truly shows who THE SOLID SNAKE is, i nearly cried its so amazing.
i think i should jus go buy a gamecube for it lol

Konami did an above average job on the PC Port for MGS2: Substance (Better than Halo port by MS/Bungie).
P.S - History has shown that a lot of games cross consoles even if they start out exclusive. |

it was a horrible port what are you talking about! theres too many glitches! i still bought it because it is metal gear. its stable but the port its directly from ps2 or xbox i can tell.
u CANNOT PLAY WITHOUT A GOOD CONTROLLER, u cant put sound acceleration to full or it messes up, and it wouldnt run on ati cards before till the patch came. sometimes the shadows get to dark on cutscenes and snake and raidens hair looked messed at times
but it was a lot smoother and cleaner looking thats all. but everyone watch the trailer for metal gear solid the twin snakes |

It was fine and dandy for me. Everything went smooth~ I didn't get a hold of the game til after the ATI Patch. And oh yes, I played with it on Keyboard because I loved the game so much.
I believe it was the PS2 port, because of the controller config for R1, R2 etc.. But it did have X, Y, B, A.. So..It may have been X-Box..or Hybrid of the two for controller scheme. |

the sound messes up if u put it to full accell... and like i cant even assign walk so i got tired of using a keyboard, i went and bought a logitech wingman cordless rumblepad for 10 bucks.... the original price is 59.99 at best buy, but my cousin got me the sickest discount and it was only 10 bucks no joke. but i cant get sick of solid snake and his adventures lol.
splinter cell has no replay value whatsoever, and whatever sam fisher does lara croft can lol

Going to spend some time finding the right button layout for it. (GC controller is being used via GameCube to USB converter)
