The Elder Scrolls: Dagger Fall (prequel to Morrowind)
Worst game purely because it was the best RPG of its time. Open-ended, non-linear intuitive spell system, radical stat level progression.
Sadly let down by the most horrendous ammount of bugs ever seen. Save games corrupted, main-plot quests impossible, random crashes.

ouch !, well I never played that, and im glad now I didnt by the sounds of it.
hard to think of the "worst" game ever, but one that comes to my mind was hitman on the pc, I was so disappointed with it. so linear and repetitive. ill have to think on that more. any other ones?

The absolute worst game that I have ever played? That is easy catfight! Gamespot did a review, and I agree with them 100%... It is by far the worst game ever!

I would say Star Trek: Deep Space Nine: Dominion Wars
but....
I have figured out how to make the dang thing play right for once
Only problem now is that one of the ships still doesnt use its special weapon and the company that makes it isnt putting out any patches

worst game I played was anything on my old geforce card, well when it actually worked with those shitty detonator drivers.... and they say Ati drivers suck? lol, its nvidia users who are computer newbies and cant even install a driver.
they should call nvidia cards "newbie cards" cause the people who buy them cant even install a driver

Well....Im running XP and what I do is right click on the shortcut and hit properties...click on the compatability tab
I set it to run in Win98/ME mode
I set it to run in 640x480 and disable visual styles.
and i just set the resolution to normal inside the game and poof it works

only thing still irritating me with ST: DS9: DW is the fact that theres one ship that still wont fire its alternate weapon.....and the 3rd party patch that fixes it screws up being able to advance missions

I cast my vote for the SOF2 beta... i got a rip... there are some many bugs and glitches... i can't stand it... The Multiplayer is simple and straightforward enough... GET THE MP DEMO it Rocks!!! ... just don't play single player ... it blows!!

I put some thought into this one and I came up with it. My choice for worst ever:
Metal Gear 2 for the Nintendo.
Reason: I LOVED Metal Gear 1, and when 2 came out I rushed to get it and was so freakin disappointed at how it played. They made it corny.

Recent times, my #1 pick would have to be Battle Siege, the game just sucks totally.
