Commands for COD!!

Hi all Please post all the commands u know in cod that can help me as a noob

like the command to show fps and like fps_max and stuff to optimize and other commands so post all u got!

Being that COD is Q3 based these should work for you:

com_maxfps "72" --- 43,76, and 125 are magic numbers. However, 72=76 and 120=125.
com_hunkMegs "384" --- sets amout of ram used for game. 384 is what I use with 1G ram.
snaps "40"
cl_maxpackets "30" --- Snaps and maxpackets help reduce ping and lower lag.
sensitivity "2.75" --- mouse sensitivity
cg_drawFPS "0" 0 is off 1 is on
cg_lagometer "1" 0 is off 1 is on

Two great sites to look at for Q3 variables:

The second site has a butt load of information for optimizing your game settings for best ping etc.
If you need help with any of these settings just ask. I will do my best to explain them.

cheers Evil Alpha....i changed hunkmegs from the default 128 to your 384 and have noticed a good increase in frames...NICE!!

(i have a gig DDR btw)

custom resolituions
seta r_customheight "1024"
seta r_customwidth "1600"

connection
seta cl_maxpackets "30"
seta cl_maxPing "800"

crosshiars
seta cg_drawCrosshair "1"
seta cg_drawCrosshairNames "1"

fps display
seta cg_drawFPS "0"

disable display of you gun so you can see alot more of you screen...
seta cg_drawGun "1"

compass range
seta cg_hudCompassMaxRange "1024"

max fps (reduces lag)
seta com_maxfps "85"

name display
seta name "yournameuwanthere"

you can tweak it to run really fast fast fps ... but you gotta trim the fat IQ

can someon be nice and hook me up with a cdkey so i can see how online play is :'( my friend gave me the game and gave me a cdkey that he dl'd not his cuz he is playing it 24/7 :'( i want to see so if any one would be so jenerous and lend me a cdkey i wont use it all the time just like 1 hour a day or so

and no posting of warez or CD keys will be permitted on Driverheaven. As was said before, if you want to play it online "so bad, we dont' even know how bad" type of bad then wait for Christmas, shovel some driveways, mow some lawns etc...

Good for you Evil. It is probably better that you wait anyway as a lot of ATI users are having problems with this game right now. By the time you get your game things should be all patched up and you should be able to play with no problems. I have had the game since the day it was released and can't play for more than 20-30 min. without it locking up. So in the end you win all around!!

a litle extrme are we ....

anyways the online play is logged if they catch multiple cd keys off the same trying to play the'll invalidate the key! and you'll be out $50
