how do i unlock the fps in ut2003

for some reason my FPS is locked at 90 or 91 for ut2003. how can i make it go over that. vsync is off and everything is manually configured. im pretty sure theres a command, HL engine is fps_max # and quake is com_maxfps # wuts for ut?

Why would you want to? your not going to see a performance increase after 85fps, my dad can't even notice it after 75fps.

nm i found it, now my fps reaches 115 and stays at a nice 100 hehe. i had to override the refreshrate it was stuck @ 90 for UT

I know that in netplay your framerate is capped at 90 by default to keep physics updates in sync with the server. You can turn off the cap in your UT2003.ini by setting bCapFramerate=False under [Engine.LevelInfo]. I'm not sure if it caps it in offline play also.

acually running at suck a hight mhz is taxing you card 85hz with vsync off will give you higher and anything over 85 hz cant be seen by the human eye i have herd

vsync is off, but i dont know why it still gets synced, i overrode the refreshrate so its fine

check your veideo card settings i bet you ir's set to VSYNC allways on or vsync is turned on in the game both must be off

I hope you have everything maxed out in the game and on the card. If not, trade some of the extra speed for some quality.

oh hell yea, 1024x768 4x(sometimes 6x) FSAA 16x ANISO and i see a nice 110 fps lol. but if its in outdoor maps its around 90 or 80 still fucking fast. its DM plunge that brings it to 50

hey gimme the stats on ur comp maybe i can help u tweak ur gf2. i got my mx 440 to go at 45 fps on my old 800 athlon 640 sdram. even with 2x fsaa it ran decent. i loaded fast as a bitch also lol. i can prolly help u out

Well its a KT4 ultra with a 1700+ OC'ed to 160FSB,,,,,the almight GF2 MX on the 44.03 drivers i tryed to enable sideband addressing and fast right it says it supported but disabled. I dont know what more do you need?

u know mail me ur config file, run the game at 800x600. the config file is in ur ut2003/system folder. its ut2003.ini ill take a look.
