Planet Side
So, anyone playing?? If so, maybe you could list server, etc... I would like to make some friends in the game, and maybe meet some people to show me around, and give some tips.

You sure you wanna throw away $13 a month to play a FPS game? IMO it's not worth it, but fill me in on it, curious to see what it's like to be in a huge battle like that.

I am enjoying PlanetSide. I just wanted to throw in that most active FPS players belong to a "clan" and compete in leagues or ladders. There is a monthly cost to this. First theres a server cost and depending on your clan it usually will be split up and will average $6 per person. Then theres webspace, Comm's and domain. I picked up the cost for the webspace and com's which means i spend around an additional $15 a month. So playing PlanetSide is actually cheaper then being competative in RavenShield. Well it has been for me atleast.

I played my free month, was fun and all... with the veichles and everything, but i get bored easily and need something more than just run around shooting people and taking bases that will be retaken within the hour.
Its damn laggy in big fights as well, not much you can do when your down to 10fps...
Star Wars Galaxies is out now so that will be my next stop... it better be worth the buck. whats it like 15$ a month, an outrage... I bet in a couple years well be paying 20$ a month to play online games...
