rolleyes new world order

So, its about that time that it reached the bargain bin. I had heard about this game oh say back in 99-2000. It had screenies that blew me away. Time wore on. Then I notice the game finally came out. It looked like others beat them to the punch... The lighting still looks pretty good... just not that good. Also add to that the atrocious models textures and props... I felt like I was playing a low quality quake 2 game with slightly better lighting.

Not just was it late... it also lacked polish. It felt like it was a technology demo. It seemed untested. The weapons are very powerful, and in the single player experience it seems that overpowered weapons are supposed to make up for the stupidity of the AI, shooting at walls, but if they actually do fire at you its 2 hit kills. IT also makes your player fly up in the air when he is shot. That isn’t right. The weapons being overpowered is fine as long as there's some sort of balance included. The multiplayer servers are empty.

The single player campaign (what I decided to play) was uninspired.

I decided not to buy it for 60 bucks being I didn’t want to play it that badly... Now I can safely say it was a waist of the twenty I paid for it. I suggest you avoid this game like the plague unless you were addicted to convert ops... you might get a little enjoyment out of it. Thought Id like to see at least a little more from this game engine. Hopefully another company will pick the engine up. It has real potential, and I'm guessing it won’t be half a mil.

I heard about the game a long while back, but then it just faded away. It was stored away in the back of my mind but now that I saw this thread I remembered it once again.

It had looked quite interesting, as you mentioned, but I don't know what to say after reading your comments. I suppose I will have to look for some sort of demo and see if I can further expand upon what you stated.

Yeah I wrote the "mini review" kind of quickly before I went out. It didint look like a game that had been in dev for 2 years is all. I feel it was pushed out the door a little early.

Do you happen to know if a demo was ever released?

I played the demo awhile back. Looked ok and everything it just felt clunky and not fluid. Also I had a tough time seeing my crosshair.
