Steampowered DH Usergroup

right now i'm still up in the city..

i've got the future to be temporary server sitting in my truck right now. I'll be getting home at around 10-11pm probably.... at tomorrow i'll be setting it up.

Cross your fingers that i run into no problems.. i should know within the first 30 minutes... i'l be PISSED if i run into any problems.. meaning i've spent roughly 200 bucks just on fuel alone getting it working due to ...*yells*

all i've got loaded atm is CS:S on the server.... unfortuneately i'm having a hard time getting a dedicated server starting... while trying to play on another computer....

seems like everything has bad timing..

both of my wired sasktel and yourlink connections are frooked or something... sasktel's uprate won't allow for anymore then 3 or 4 players tops.... while yourlink will allow for a good number.. however i can't get the sucker to work at all right .. Mostly due to super erratic weather.... sudden and sharp temperature changes are throwing it all over hell and back.... working on the problem.

We still looking at getting some games together?

I've got steam loaded however I've only got Portal and the Orange box through them (free with ATI card). I've got the original HL with a bunch of expansions (CS is amoung them I believe although I have loaded it in a couple of years) along with UT and UT2003/04 that sounds like some of you guys might have through Steam so I'm wondering how I can hook up with the retail versions if you guys are still doing this peroidically.

i've been quite busy lately...

and due to a number of reasons.... i haven't been able to keep a machine round long enough to setup a sever on.

I've a trade fair this weekend which may dictate what is going to happen soon.

I'm sure by the end of april... things are going to slow derastically

I joined under the same name. I am looking forward to some Left4Dead. I haven't really gotten into a multiplayer game since Duke Nukem 3D and the old dialup modem. I hope there's only a little bit of lag if not none at all.
