Who is your favourite game character and why? Mine are self explanatory I think

Edit: This thread really should be called "favourite gaming babe" coz I can see its probable future

Easily the greatest character of all time for me. Thanks to this guy (and the great game that was Duke Nukem 3D), it became the first FPS game that I enjoyed so much that I completed. Also, my first non strategy game that I played "online" against another human. You play against an alien invasion force, but you are the bad ass, it's the aliens that should be afraid of you.

The Duke is held in deep regard in my books too.

Toxic Bunny was a travesty of Jazz Jack Rabbit if you ask me.

My macho favourite characters are Tommy Verceti for his sheer style, Master Chief for all the lolz and Earthworm Jim for his platform domination back when platform games rocked my world.

Duke Nukem... He had some great one line comments that simply stood out above the rest.

For my younger years,and console related games.. Sonic The Hedgehog,simply for his attitude.

Halo 1 single player was bad, okay, but the multiplayer was just full of maybe more laughs than red vs. blue. The MC is a a classic, and if the video game characters all had a party, guess who would be the MC???

Gordan Freeman is indeed hella cool. He probably is the smartest game charcter who ever lived. Lambda = bloodshed+headcrabs+crowbars squared.

Same here, but I'd also add Earthworm Jim, Link and Decard Cain (Diablo).

The babe in Half Life 2 would rank 4th in my 5 hottest gaming babes, 5th would have to be Lara Croft who apparently is already having an affair with The Duke (who else lol).

You know, one of the things I really sorta wanted when I was playing Crysis was to see Nomad's face, I don't know why but you had some kind of respect for the guy, especially during the outro, that part was sorta moving for me. I haven't played Crysis multi though but at least the single player was pretty damn good.

One other charachter that I found ---really--- funny was Gex. My fav. line of his was "My inner child is comin' out.....and it hurts!". That and "Rocket man, Rocket man!!!" The music in the original game was pretty darn catchy too.
