WOW! Crisis Core was amazing!

I just finished it tonight, couldn't sleep. The ending was amazing. Put movies to shit. The ending is pretty obvious, but I won't spoil it. But it leads right into FF7 and they are just teasing you for a remake. I think the cutscenes were developed on PS3 hardware or something. If you play towards the end in one long session, I could see some people feeling very upset at the end as you get attatched. I'm a pretty cold-hearted person with feelings, but final fantasy games almost get me. On top of that, you realize 80+ hrs of your life goes away with the bad guys and heroes lol. Think of it as the Star Wars Prequels, in one game and there weren't ones that sucked. In addition, the graphics make the game feel 100000x more cinematic than the original; they have actual voices and facial expressions now. Amazing what the PSP can do and now I know why the PSP is destroying sales in Japan.

9.3/10. Replay it in hard, I heard its pretty challenging. The only problem is getting the extra stuff is not all that rewarding. But for the younguns that don't know what really made Sony into what it is today (and put Sega in its unfortunate coffin, before they nailed it shut with the Dreamcast), you need to play this game. And of course, everyone else should.

but I might cry first time in years (for something) for the MGS4 ending, work booked off for a few days and getting a new home theatre for it (hopefully in time).

Yeah, it's pretty amazing so far. I'm at Chapter 10 I think and been playing it for 18 hours. Do you complete everything and how long did it take you to play it all? Call me crazy but I imported the Crisis Core PSP, which is my first, just for this game.

I gotta check the timer count again... but I think maybe 20 hrs? I didn't finish all the missions. Some are grueling long and not rewarding enough.
