Gran Turismo 5 Prologue Discussion
Absolutely stunning game, this is one of those games that match the cinematics that you see in the trailers. Since its like a massive beta demo, its mostly driving, getting cars and some racing online. You probably won't pick up your jaw off the ground on how realistic it looks. Damage will be coming along with a huge slew of features such as racing clubs online. I run this game at 1080i and I really can't tell the difference most of the time, imagine 1080p! If you are needing a racing fix on the PS3 or car enthusiast. Absolutely nuts game and its not even done.
It has a very "light on its feet" and classy feel to it, which feels a little weird for racing games. But eh, thats Gran Turismo always. In addition, the game does keep the interface a bit similar to the XMB. Options are quite basic online, its just simple matchmaking currently. I just can't get my jaw off the ground. Here is a comparison of F1 racing (which will make its return fully in the the final version) between the game and real life

although i dont own a ps3 (yet) this game wont make be go out and get one any sooner. imo its just a way to leech extra cash outta ps3 owners desperate for somthing decent to play.by the time the full GT5 comes out is should be really good with the crash dmg and an incar view, im looking foward to the full version now.

in car view is the prologue, and its the best view to drive in. the physics are even better than GT4. the online is very basic, but its just he foundations really.

you will for sure get to transfer over your cash and cars, so it will give you a legup. i kinda got bored of GT4 as it got repititive, but it was a crazy game anyways.
the Nissan GT-R is truly one deadly car. unfortunately there are no stock porsches in the game, most likely RUF stuff.

I have what may seem like a stupid question. How do you change the view in the game? Currently I have the front view of the car, but not the actual in car view.

remap your brake and accelerator to L2 and R2. gives a lot more control with the pressure than the stick. i think I like the 360 controller better in a lot ways because most games have them defaulted to the triggers
