They are both very good games. For me they are about the same.
Have you played Rainbow Six Vegas?

Brutality will become famous soon enough

So instead of choosing from 2 brilliant games, you recommend some crap?

Ok, R6 isn't crap. But COD4 definitely beats it.

I think all COD4 and R6 are both good games. I can't speak to Halo, as I've not played it.

@rpstaekwondo, COD4 has both a great single and multiplayer component, so I think it's a great total package. I would say COD4 is one of the best games I've ever played. The multiplayer is second to none, in my opinion.

Yes. No. CoD4 is a fun game and one of the best for what it is. I guess if one prefers a shooter where there are endless waves of enemies unless you reach a certain point in the map that poof makes them stop coming to you, then one might prefers CoD4.
Or if one hasn't played R6V.
Or if one has played R6V and just isn't good enough in taking cover :-p
What I am trying to say is, R6V PWNS CoD 4.

Ive played both games, and enjoy COD4 (PC) better. I just bought COD4 for the 360 and i think thats going ot be a bit harder to get use to since i need a KB n mouse to play FPS's.

I agree!

But I think COD4 wins hands down over Halo 3!

I'm a Halo 1 fanatic (not Halo 2) and Halo 3 was pretty damn good. CoD 4 owns it up and down and across the street though.

The one thing Halo has that stomps all over Call of Duty is the vehicles and diverse game modes. CoD 4 is basically different types of deathmatch

CoD4 vs Halo3...damn thats a close call, very close. i will chose CoD4 as both games multiplayer is supurb in their own ways but in single player CoD4 on veteran is far more intense.

Not sure what CoD4 is like on PC, but on 360 i played through on "normal" and didnt notice this, and now i am over 3/4 through it on veteran and still havent noticed what you describe.

Eh, CoD4 is like all previous CoD games. The enemy keeps on coming till you reach certain points that "Switches off" their endless supply of troops. There are of course some exceptions in certain missions like while on the plane or eh, better not say much about specific missions.
But yeah, all Call of duty games are the same in this, I don't know how you haven't noticed it.

Where you are waiting for extraction? What I did was move as far as possible to the "back", opposite direction from the "road" they come at you, crouch and snipe away. You do have to be fast and accurate though. I passed that part with my first try. I had problems earlier in that level right after I shot the main target (first shot too ) where I was running and received the message about where to go for the extraction.

hmm, well i use to think it had a endless supply of troops but in a couple of sections of the game it has been that hard core that i pretty much had to hold my ground and after a while there was no more troops coming so i moved foward...maybe just a break in the flow? not 100% sure to be totally honest...but this has happened to me in more than one spot so i didnt think it was just "fluke" or whatever..

If you want the easy way there are two ways.

#1 As soon as you trigger the timer ran back to where you exited out of the pool area. Pass the exit (don't go inside the pool area) and make a left down a little alley. You should be able to make a right into a generic building opening and just wait there for the timer to run out. You will probably only need to kill 10 guys and your team member won't die so you don't have to worry about that.

#2 Wait back in the other corner (by the table area of bumper car area) on the (if your facing towards the pool ) right side. Make sure you keep a clear diagonal view of where the far left 2 Helo's drop their guys. They should not come behind or beside you (at least on easier difficulties)

dumb comparison, but overall Halo 3 doesn't look or feel too different which it needed I think. But then again, I didn't spend enough time for it. CoD4 is the best online ps3 game I have played to date, only if the in game xmb actually happened and let me add people.

IMO, COD4 is the best game out there on a multi-platform basis ATM

Ill keep this short.. for me it has to be call of duty 4,seeing as i sold my 360 a few months ago and i don't have a clue (personally) to what Halo 3 is like apart from reading several reviews.

But the main reason i am posting here is to give you this link.IGN has a similar article Here. A few may of already viewed this previously,If not you may find it might help aid your points.
