**BioShock Ending Spoiler**

It just blows my mind that people look for an argument over the stupidest things ever. I mean, I must have fielded 10 arguments over how many endings there are in BioShock, with every single person calling me a liar, some of them right to my face, and the rest saying I didn't know what I was talking about.. which is the same as calling me a liar.

SO, here's the proof that you guys have been demanding of me:

Go to

C:\Program Files\2K Games\BioShock\Content\BinkMovies folder (if you are running x64 OS then it should be under C:\Program Files (x86).

This is where all the movie files are located. To see the endings do the following:

Rename the file called '2KG_logo_720P.bik' to something else. This is the intro to the game. The idea is to rename the 3 endings to the same name of the logo file, and by doing so the game will run the endings instead of the logo when it starts. The 3 ending files are (take a guess at which is for what ending):

HarvestGatherers.bik
KilledGatherers.bik
SavedGatherers.bik

Just rename any of those files to '2KG_logo_720P.bik', start the game, and watch the ending.

Note: The only people that should be viewing these are those that called me a liar, or for those that don't want to play through the game 3 times to get all 3 endings, yet want to see what 'could have been' if they made a different moral choice.

Ive played through saving and harvesting....how do you kill the gatherers?

well good, saves me from having to look for them on youtube, and saves me from playing through it again. not exactly something i wanted to do.


was just another over hyped game if you ask me. ended up being much like doom3. looked good, decent game play, a weak story, and over hyped to hell and back.

Think of it more like this: killed gatherers = harvested some, but not all gatherers.

I'm starting to think it's more involved than just killing some, but not all though. In my case I harvested Sisters up until one point in the game, and from then on I saved them... about 5-6 I think until the end of the game, yet I still got the evil ending with an angry Tenenbaum. I could be like my friend pointed out where the key is the first Sister, or it could just boil down to a ratio thing where if you killed more Sisters than you saved you get the 3rd ending.

Thing is.. it's a long way to play through just to find that out, and frankly, this time, I want to save them all. Doing so means getting 1/2 the Adam each time, and that means it'll be harder to play the game.. which is what I want this time through. So, for me to test out that one theory would turn a fun time into something tedious, and boring. I like the game too much to ruin my opinion of it like that.

BTW, as to the story, I thought it was pretty good. It fell flat a couple times, hard, actually, but the whole thing with the "Would you kindly" bit.. now that was a twist and a half that I never saw coming. That whole sequence was probably the best part of the whole story line.

Best scene is in Fort Frolic, the one guy cues the classical music, then all the splicers come running at you. Loved that scene with the wrench, it was fantastic

Dang, I was just gonna post that video review. It's quite funny but also right on the money bar a minor detail or two.

Yeah.. Sander Cohen. I have to say Fort Frolic was the best area in the whole game.

Speaking of which, you may be tempted to kill Cohen at the end of that area, but if you don't you will be treated to a nice piece of fun later on.

That whole sander cohen thing was bull... when he walked away i killed him immediatly cause i wanted that bag... and then i learn about that weapon upgrade so i go online and find out the cheat for ghosting cause no way in hell am i gonna waste a weapon upgrade cause i didnt' know that he wasn't supposed to die just yet...
