What's your favorite Tom Clancy franchise?
Just a quick little poll to see what your favorite Tom Clancy game series would be.
Mine would be Splinter Cell, with Ghost Recon in second. God.. Co-op in Chaos Theory was awesome.. more so on the Xbox with it's reactive voice support (something serverly lacking in the PC version). As for Rainbow Six, Vegas is a great game, but it's not like the rest of the series. So, while I liked the first Rainbow Six, after a while I just couldn't get into the excessive amount of micromanagement of the different teams, and all the planning. I pretty much stayed away from the series until this last game, which I'm enjoying.

I'm in the middle of RB6:Vegas on the PC. I'm enjoying it a LOT! But, I've not really had that much exposure to the previous releases so I don't have anything to compare the RB6 series to.
However, the Splinter Cell series is AWESOME if we're talking about the first three of the series. Chaos Theory just blew me away!
BUT, Double Exposure had so many bugs I couldn't even get past the introductory part of it. I'd love to see if it's any better after patches.
So, I guess you can put me down for Splinter Cell.
(BTW, why is this in Off Topics instead of Games Discussion? )
EDIT: Well, I was going to move it myself but someone beat me to it.

Splinter Cell, as both Ghost Recon and R6 have never really got me hooked, that said Double Agent was rubbish, which was disapointing after CT was awesome, I hope this years entry in the series does better.

Hey, I'm just looking out for the moderators. Gotta keep you guys on your toes. Busy, busy, busy, you know? I mean.. if people like me didn't do stupid stuff like this then the moderators would get bored, right?
Seriously, though, thanks for putting it in the right place.

My favourite Tom Clancy game has to be Red Storm Rising. The best in all aspects modern warfare sub sim till perhaps Sub Command or Dangerous Waters.
For newer games then my votes go to Ghost Recon and R6Vegas. While I finished both of them, Ghost Recon with coop, I found R6 Vegas less rough, more finished if you wish. So, though I have to vote none of the above for the reason mentioned, my second favourite TC game is R6 Vegas.

Thinking back on it I should have added the other games he's taken part in, however these ones these three series are the ones that standout, more due to their popularity and longevity than anything else. Plus, they did make more than one.

also would like to add, if I wanted to sneak around in the dark I'd just shut off the lights and do so.

For me it's the splinter cell series, but that has to exclude double agent.
I still have the original ghost recon game along with the expantion packs.Although they are quite dated now they still got played.Advanced warfare was decent enough but i could never get past level 3.Have not thried GR2.
Tried the Rainbow series but never liked it right from the start (but tried the demos).I find this series way to tactical.
