1/2 second delay in first person shooters.

I just upgraded to cable a couple weeks ago, the downloading and uploading is excellent (up to 1.5MBs/384KBs), and my in-game pings are awesome(15-25 on some servers), but there's an annoying 1/2 seond delay from when I press the trigger to when the shots register. Any idea what could be causing this? I don't have my windows firewall enabled, nor the firewall on my DGL-4300 router. I'm pretty much at a complete loss....

only in older games

well it seems my problem only occurs in older games like COD and R6:Ravenshield. Newer games like FEAR and BF2142 seem to be working 100%. Is it possible for your connection to be too fast for a game? Here's my speedtest benchmark

At first I thought you had a LCD lag problem, but if you have the problem with only some games...it's a mystery. BUT, I seriously doubt the problem is a too fast internet connection.
