The newest Heli Flight Sim just released in the UK May 25 2007 is Enemy Engaged 2. It features the U.S.

Many of us Comanche 4 players have been waiting for this, but a good number of us are disappointed because there is no immediate player vs. player action as it is in C4. And it takes some effort to fly. hehe The instrument panel and weapons systems are also nice. IMHO!! You can change gunships (among the available gunships) while in flight, in single player and multi-player games. One of the things that may be a bit irritable is that it takes a while to get through the way points, so you can begin attacking the enemy, to execute the assigned mission. However, one of the things you can do is deviate from your mission flight path, and attack one of the enemy locations closer to you. The bad side to that is that, you can only reload your weapons payload at designated bases throughout the campaign (and a base may be 10 or more flight minutes away).
If you like real flight sims, you should give this a try! IMHO, it's a really nice game! Graphics are nice, but not quite as nice as the graphics for Lock ON Flamming Clifs.
Release dates for this game in the U.S. vary, but there are some online store links at the official site that have this game available for purchase, now.
I hope this is exciting info for you. The release of the game was exciting news for a number of us C4 players!!! And I still like it a bunch!!!
Edit:
I was writing my post as Tril was posting. There are some bugs we noted in the games UI, such as the listing of one's game controller complete name being cut off, and sometime the controller settings seem to not be saved (but that may be because of the use of different brand game controllers being connected to the PC as you start the game. For example, if you have a Microsoft Sidewinder Joystick connected and play, then you close the game and connect a CH Products joystick controller. you will have to set axes assignments again in the game options).
Also, the game is supposed to have a feature for voice commands to be used to command your Co-pilot gunner and wingmen. so far we have not been able to get that feature to work.
Some of us have been playing for about a week, and so far no major bugs have been experienced.
If anyone here happens to get the game, make a post here and we can learn and play this nice flight sim together. Private multiplayer games can be hosted via IP address.
