Couple Questions About LOTR Online

I really want to check this game out. I have not played many MMOs, but I am kinda getting into them. I am a big fan of the books and movies so this one really intrigues me. Basically I have 3 questions.

1.) Do you need a credit card to play this game? I think someone told me with the free 30 day trial you need to register a credit card. Is this true? Also with the buddy key, do you need to use a credit card? I think there are game cards coming out for it soon, but I havent seen any in the store yet.

2.) Do you think this game would run on dial up? I know people who play WoW and star wars galaxies on dial up w/o much trouble. I play Rappelz (free korean mmorpg) on dial up and dont lag much worse than others w/ high speed. On the requirements it says 56k for minimum so it may work.

3.) If the game doesnt run well at all for me, would I be able to sell it to a friend and give him my product key and account info and such?

Thanks

Kevin

1. You can use a credit card. From their FAQ it says that they also accept pre-paid credit cards. They also accept PayByCash.

2. I played in beta and I would recommend something greater than dial-up. I looked at the LOTRO FAQ and it says in the minimum requirements that you can use 56k.

3. I am sure as with most MMO type games that use an online account system that you would tie the CD KEY to the account. You could probably cancel the game and sell the account to your friend and the person buying would then update the account information and enter their credit card information for payment.
