Pissed No HALO 2 in 2003!

You all probably read about this somewhere in the past few days, but I figured I would make a thread out of it.

They've decided to hold Halo 2's release until early 2004. To improve it even more etc...

I was wondering what you guys thought about this, and the original Halo.

I thought Halo was a masterpiece, and it still is a masterpiece. If Halo 2 adds only Xbox Live support (which it will) then it will be HUGE seller.

So as of right now Halo 2 is the best FPS of 2004! (Instead of 2003)

Well if we survive the probable George W Bush's World War III then I say its good that Bungie is taking its time.

Bungie's Halo never really tapped the power of the XBox so that is more than likely the reason why they are going for quality over making money.

Hell if Microsoft and Bungie really wanted to make money off of Halo they would probably make Halo toilet paper and it would sell like hot cakes.

As for Halo one, its a great game, it could have been better but they did not have time and full access to the XBox so its really a Direct X game and Halo 2 has plenty of time for better development.

Rare's Goldeneye still holds the title of The Best FPS of all time followed by Halo and then HalfLife

Rare now works for Microsoft so maybe they are also working on nearly complete Perfect Dark game that will tide us over untill Halo or it could be that Id Software's DooM III for XBox will be so good that its better to give some selling time space for DooM to get platinum before Halo 2 shows up.

But this will only happen if there is no WWIII and lets hope that there isn't one.
