What do you think about Nascar 2003

I was wondering if anyone here has played the new Nascar 2003 Racing that came out recently. What are your thoughts about it and what kind of FPS are you getting. Also if you would like to post any tweaks for it please do.

I think that it is the best nascar game out. Great game play and beautiful graphics. I am getting around 60-65 with almost everything on with my 2100 and a 9700 pro

I like the demo a lot. Much better than 2003 "Thunder". I've owned or had the demo of every Papyrus/Sierra NASCAR since they came out & this is sweet. Only 'quirk' I've noticed is that my car has fuzzy details on the back in 'chase' view.

I don't know the FPS, but it is smooth w/my 8500 & 9700. (I'm gonna wear out this 8500 before I switch to the 9700 permanetly ) I have shadows off & effects (smoke, etc.) turned down. 1024x768 & 'balanced' in the ATi control panel. High detail on everything else, in game. Animated pit crew looks funny/cool. Cracks me up how they run around the car like in real life. I hope the NASCAR officials move faster tho', I've run a few over. he he

Just hooked my old V3 wheel up yesterday (been using the js) & look out! At 97% @ Michigan & 95% @ Talledega > we're door-to-door. Wish it would save my 'settings' tho'.

Great fun, good IQ, excellent physics & smooth gameplay > just what I expect from P/S & just what I always get.

Have you tried the TOCA/Pro Race Driver demo's? Shift fast & brake hard. Total Immersion is fun too & also has great graphics.

i like the realism they have added to it. Dirt on the windsheild and the actual bumps in the track. What do you mean by saving your settings? I will have to give that demo of TOCA a shot sounds good

Funny thing: I got the itch after the post & went & played > it saved my settings from the last time! That is the 1st time I've gone back into the demo & my prior setup was still there. Made it easier, although I had the settings more or less memorized. I chuckled about the post: that's usually how things happen w/me > once I say something ...

Total Immersion Racing (Adrenaline Vault dl, I think, or 3DGamers) has 2 tracks & 2 cars & reminds me of F12002 w/o F1 cars. GT & GTS class cars.

C'ya @ the track
