Fable: The Lost Chapters ISSUE -.-

Yeah trust me, I've seen a ton of threads all over the net and yet none of them have quite smacked me in the face to help me realize just what is going on with my game here. So far everything seems to fit for my computer.

I picked it up today, downloaded it without a problem, heck it even opens to the little menu page with 'Play', 'Uninstall', 'Website', and 'Exit' on it. So yeah you go 'YAAAAY IT WORKS' and then click Play and....

Nada. Nothing. No error messages, nothing. It just won't do anything after this point. I've uninstalled the blasted thing about five times and installed it again with no help. DirectX 9 is downloaded here too which is suppose to help from what I've heard.

I'm seriously hoping someone here can help me figure out if 've got a faulty disk or wtf is going on.

Have you tried setting everything to low and trying to play. If I remember correctly Fable had an issue with ATI hardware where it would freeze if something was enabled.

Is this an original game or a downloaded copy ?

everybody i know that bought this game had some kind of issue with it.the simplest difference in hardware and drivers would require comepletely different in-game settings.as long as this is a legit copy, whether it be a downloaded version or hardcopy,it still should not do this even if your system is less than top notch.it would be a good idea to post some or atleast the main component specs of your system in your sig or just within your post so people can see what ya got going.

disable windowblinds/themes on the fable.exe

& you need a shader2 card (i've used 3danalyze to run it (poorly) on a geforce2 but dont try that)
