hawgshead if you have questions on the 360 you should have asked them in the original post, you could have had 10-20 answers already rather than "yes, I have one" replies.

I really didnt think computer gamers would have one.Sorry Z.Questions....1}Is there any maintenance to this thing-defragging and such?2}Please reccomend some good 1st person shooters.Like Call of Duty,F.E.A.R etc.
And anything else you guys think I would enjoy.3}Is X-Box live worth the $$$?I dont like gaming with immatrure people that, when they speak, every other word is f**k,s**t and the like.Hey,i'm no angel, everyone slips. But my friend has an X-Box anf I have been with him when he was playing on line and every other word these 13 year old kids were saying was just nasty.....Thanks guys.

Yes I have a 360 and to answer the questions
1. No
2. Call of Duty, GRAW
3. There is alot of kids that play on live but I still think its worth the money. I am part of a gaming network that is setup for 30 and over so it doesnt really matter about the kids to much for me. They have a FPS night, Race Night and other odds and ends, can usually find something to play with these guys everynight.

As far as I know, Silver packet is free. But can i play my games with Silver packet too or do i have to get Gold packet? I know, Silver can be used to play Arcade games and make your own account in gamernetwork, but I've heard a lot of people saying that i can't play my games with Silver and some say i can. So how is it then?

Silver can download content and arcade games, but you cannot play against other people online.
As for deciding if gold is worth the money, you'll get a one month free trial to start with, so you can decide for yourself in the first month, i personally think it's worth the money.
Ghost Recon is definitely a recommended game, not a huge fan of Cod2, but maybe that's because i have it on my PC, i think COD3 is out soon ish xmas time maybe? or i might just be making that up lol.
I can't say i've had any trouble with kids on live, but i play late night, you get the occassional idiot, but the hosts will kick'em.

1 no maintenance, other than getting my fiancee to polish it
2 Graw, COD. Though personally I play Oblivion,PGR3 most.
3 Yes you get lots of irritating people but I either play with no headset or I have a select group of people in my friends group. The driverheaven clan thing quickly fizzled out though it might be an idea.
4 Gold membership is definitely worth it and is the only way to play people online. Essential with the likes of Testdrive and COD3 coming out.
5 The game servers are owned overall by whoevers game it is. The games have a host though who sets up the specifics for the server such as collisions on/off in PGR3 and who has the ability to boot players.
Anymore questions or if you want more indepth then fire away.

I don't have my 360 yet, and didn't want to start another thread about it.
So far I have the following games.
PGR3
Dead Rising
Can any one recommend any more?

cod3(when available) oblivion rox if u like action/adventure/rpg'ish games. i enjoyed the crap out of neef for speed: most wanted. even though the storyline is super crappy and car customization is quite limited.(wish they geared more towards gran tourismo) but the graphics are just so freakin awesome. imo, saint's row isn't worth it. sure it looks good. but the driving experience is totally wrong. the cars engine sounds aren't very good. and it doesn't feel like your are driving a car. feels more like u r just running faster than normal. no sense of speed. gta: san andreas is 2X better still. which can be played on the 360. platinum hits for 20 bucks!

Depends on wut u like.
My stack of xbox games includes:
Timesplitters Future Perfect - must have if you like endless multiplayer options, bots, 162 different characters, custom map maker, and using a brick to knock off your zombie oponents head. I also has so much to unlock, off the wall challenges (smashing windows with bricks, monkey dancing, cat racing, and many other things) Its an FPs where u can't jump though : (
Ghost Recon 2 - Good tactical fps
Ghost Recon 2 Summit Strike - just more guns, like an expansion you should have to pay full price for.
Halo - Self explanitory (pretty much a must have for xbox owners)
Halo 2 - I personally think it sucks in every way but I hear to some its quite fun, looks worse than the original though with worse gameplay mechanics. Prolly looks better on an HD screen with a 360 though
Soul Caliber 2 - Fighting game for the xbox that I love. Mostly because each character brings something new to the table. Each have their unique weapons and I prefer it to DOA. + it has Spawn!
Black - kinda there when I just feel like shooting a lot with no tactics. I wouldn't say its worth the money though. No multi at all
Max Payne - still fun today, good solid fps with a good storyline
Max Payne 2 - Not as good as the first and feels more like a kiddy game sometimes that worries about portraying cops in a bad light. None of the grit in the old game, too clean.
Mercenaries - Another shooter that is kinda there when ever I feel like blowing buildings up and goin on a rampage. Kinda arcady and real linear storyline.
Indigo Prophecy - picked it up in Virginia on sale at the PX on the mil base. Best 4$ I ever spent. It has a really imersive storyline and the game is just so well done, you make all the choices (like killing a man and trying to play your way out of it so the bartender doesn't remember ur face, remember to pay!, and then goin to the crime scene later as a different character trying to figure out what is goin on). You'll find this cheap anywhere and its well worth the experience.
Ninja Gaiden Black - Really good though impossibly hard at times, no game looks better on the xbox than this, except for maybe DOA and Future Perfect.
Metal Gear Solid 2 Substance - well worth the money, lots of added missions to hone ur metal gear stealth ability and train u on using the crappy camera angles feature in all metal gear games. Still a great game with a good storyline though I have to say Raiden is such a little b*tch.
Rainbow Six 3 - pretty much the latest one thats good. Lockdown sucks, haven't played Critical Hour yet but it looks like Lockdown so it prolly sucks. AI is a little dumb, like running in front of ur gun while ur firing. If u can find this its better on the PC
Rainbow Six 3 Black Arrow - same as the original just shorter with more guns (another expansion type except it should be cheaper). Again, I cannot stress how badly the game has gotten after these two and Raven Shield on the pc. Lockdown looks like Rainbow Six dropped in a batch for of trendy then edited by politically incorrect producers. Hmm, well I know lets put a girl in there, cause u know woman are allowed in elite special forces units...(their not) and lets but a black guy that always wears sun glasses on missions, o yeah and lets forget, none of them should wear helmets to shocase our stupidity and inabilty to make a proper Rainbow Six game...
XIII - For my cell shading comic FPS. Its not that great of a game and has the worse voice acting I've ever heard but where else are you gunna get a cell shading FPS for the xbox? It just feels like ur in a comic.
Thats wut I got so far, I'll let u know what I think of any others I pick up.
Edit: Also If you have an EB edge card and a local ebgames store you can pick up most of these dirt cheap used. I bought Farcry for the xbox and didn't like it, gameplay couldn't keep my attention and the story is naturally horrible coming from the Crytek team.
Also... I would recommend at least renting Perfect Dark, Ghost Recon Andvanced Warfight, Oblivion, Burnout Revenge, DOA 4. Rainbow Six Vegas is coming out so I'd be pretty iffy on that but from what I have seen/heard/read they are trying very hard not to make it like lockdown.
O and also, if u can't get em for pc, Splinter Cell is very good Chaos Theory is the best one though. Same with Hitman Blood Money
Edit 2:
U can use these as refrences but I wouldn't advise them as wut to buy. Search out info on games that you think may interest you then decide from there, if ur iffy about it then u may just want to rent it first.

Its no problem man but I have a question for you.
I am selling my car soon (not to buy a 360), will it be worth it to buy a 360? I'll only be able to play it for 2 months though.

I don't have my 360 yet bought it from Newegg. However, I can answer your question. If you don't have a HDTV then no.
