Is there a way to modify aiming and precisionin Splinter Cell for the PC??
I don't know about you, but I'm annoyed at the lackof precision when firing a firearm in Splinter Cell for the PC. Although I wait 5-6 seconds on a target, the bullet doesn't go where it's supposed to go. I know the game is based more on stealth than action but still!!! What happened to the precision?! Sam Fisher is supposedly the best of the best, right??
Does anyone know how to modify the .ini or some other files to achieve better aiming??

Do you know what game engine it's based on? I don't really play the Clancy series....too thinky and not enough mindless violence.

Its a homegrown engine pumped out for the X-box if I remember correctly. Dont quote me on it. Best thing to os is to check out dat and ini files with notepad... or jsut whatever file looks like it may control settings... If its hard coded then you cant do anything as you'd need to do messy compiling.
I played it in a store. Didint float my boat.

Ok, then I reckon I'll try and download the demo tonight and see if I can see anything fun.

I believe it's based on a modified Unreal engine. I don't know what generation though. I've already changed a few settings in the .ini file like Cache size, buffer, and quick cheat access thru the numeric keypad. That's all i know, though.

I downloaded it, I just haven't gotten a chance to install it and look yet. I promise I'll get to it as soon as I get me kitchen floor scrubbed and the ceiling fans cleaned.

Your wife must love you very much. Doing your chores before playing your games.

Chores?
No, more like "responsibilities". Part of the mom-thing by my reckoning. Washed the ceiling & walls when I was up scrubbing down the fans since they were pretty awful. This half of the house smells great, but I am just about totally wiped out.
