Flatout Hints - Help Me out

Hey all, I'm having a blast with Flatout 1, but I can't seem to get much distance in the driver longjump or highjump. any hints?

Oh, I love FLATOUT!

The Longjump is quite a challenge. I'm not consistent with that one, either. Mostly, any of these extras depend on when you start holding down the Nitro button and for how long. Don't even touch it until you reach the colored section of track just before the launchpad.

cool. Anyone else??

I find that my cars crash after the ramp cause I'm going to fast. Is this ok or should I slow down?

The crashes are part of it. The faster the better!
